Campo dei Fiori and nightlife: In the dawn, when the last Roman nightlife lovers return to their home, the dealers are already about to build up the most popular fruit and vegetable market in Rome, the Campo dei Fiori. Fresh and well priced fruits and vegetables are offered from Monday to Friday until the early afternoon. This simple Piazza surrounded by tumble-down old houses has not really much in common with most of the other beautiful Piazzas of the historical center. However this Campo de Fiori is for certain a hot spot for nightlife and young students meet up to hang around and have a beer or two. In the evening then the wine restaurants and Trattorias will place their tables outside and turn this Piazza into a big party. Locals as much as tourists join the crowds, eating, drinking and chatting their way through. The open air atmosphere gives the place a very nice flair and makes it easy to meet new people and have a good time.
