Belgium Brussels Hotels
Belgium Brussels Hotels - Accommodation - Cheap Hotels!
Not a hard guess that Brussels hotels are at the very high end of
price range comparing to all the other capital cities in Europe.
As the capital of Europe, Brussels has more business travellers
floating into the city than hotels can often cope with. Apart from
few exceptions and despite the good priced accommodations, hotels
in Brussels are often fully booked and early bookings are highly
recommended. Booking online can give you the advantage to receive
certain discounts when for example the accommodation demand generated
by business travellers drops. That might be the case for some weekends
and certainly for the summer months July and August when almost
all the employees of the European Parliament and other European
institutions take their long vacations. Apart from these exceptions
it is sometimes hard to find a cheap hotel room in Brussels for
let’s say less than 150 Euro per night in a 3 star hotel.
The good news about Belgium is that newly established hotels have spotted the demand on budget
to mid-range hotels in the city centres in Belgium. These establishments particularly catering
to more costs-conscious travelers. They will have accommodations priced for less then 100 Euro
which is a huge achievements for cities like Brussels. Rooms are as squeaky-clean and comfortable
as in one of the higher priced palatial hotels and located in the right neighbourhood so that
tourists can easily walk around the city centre. As mentioned before, hotels in the EU and business
quarters such as Brisk in Brussels will on some weekends almost be half empty and willing to drop
in price quiet considerably. Having said that bear in mind that if you decide to stay longer and want
to keep your level of accommodation spending you might have to relocate after the weekend.
In Upper Town – central Brussels – cheap chain and boutique hotels are thin on the ground. Due to the
lack of space the small – family run businesses and epochal hotels built 50, 60 and more years ago
dominate the accommodation market. These rather antique hotel buildings often have an interesting
mixture of evocative period architecture and high-end technology equipped rooms and modern designed
interiors.
