Sisi Museum

For the 150th Wedding day of Elizabeth and Franz Josephs on the 24th April 2004 Vienna opened a new museum for the former emperor in Vienna’s Hofburg. The Sisi museum holds, besides well-known exhibits like the imperial morning skirt, art pieces which were not to be seen so far: Articles of clothing from Munich, the marriage announcement, a reconstruction of the wedding dress, an accessible carriage, Sisi’s dead mask and much more.

Museum of Natural History

The Museum of Natural History is the architectural mirror image of the art-historical museum and holds extensive collections of anthropological and geological exhibition objects, as well as fossils of different dinosaurs and animals of the ice age. An absolute highlight under the prehistorical artifacts is the 25,000 years old “Venus of will village” ('Venus von Willendorf').

The research on cheap accommodation should include all the alternatives to hotels as well: hostels, hostales, bed and breakfast, guesthouses, holiday rentals and so forth. The second thing to bear in mind planning a budget holiday is cheap transportation. What are the things to do when I compare cheap flights and train tickets for the cheapest deal available.
